My day job for the past 9 years has been teaching at multiple middle and high schools. However, during the Covid pandemic, while playing a LOT of games, I thought to myself, I can do this. After multiple years of designing I Founded Double Play Games and am pleased to bring you the first of MANY new and fresh games!

Founded in 2025 in Spokane, WA by Matt Doherty, Double Play Games grew from a love of gaming with friends and family. Our goal? Create strategy-packed games that are simple to learn but endlessly fun to play. Tides of War is just the first of many!
